March 16, 2008.   Today was a 211 mile trip up to northeast Georgia with Steve and Lori.  It was in the 40's this morning but got up to 60.  Janis got to use her new full-face helmet to keep warm.

Starting out at the Canton BP station.

Neel's Gap.  This is where the Appalachian Trail cross's the highway.

Looking to the left - this is where the hikers can get supplies and take a break or a shower.  It is the only place that the trail goes thru a building.

Cleveland, Georgia for lunch.  A nice family type buffet.

Then a stop at The Sautee Market to stock up on candy.  The bad news was that Janis and Lori found some new stores across the street.  The good news was I had the credit card.

Then we headed home.
