April 2, 2006.  A nice 3 hour 108 mile trip.

For the past month we have either been sick, or out of town, or had bad weather but finally today Janis and I were able to head northwest on a ride.  The goal was to make it to the city of Blue Ridge which is up by the border of Tennessee.  We got within 10 miles of it and the sky started getting pretty black.  The temperature dropped about 10 degrees and the wind picked up so we made a U-turn to avoid the rain.  Ended up coming back to town and eating at the local Quizno's.  

Took the exit for 'scenic view'.  Had some Gatoraid from the cooler and continued north.

A late lunch.
