April 21, 2007.  Today I joined about 14 other bikes at 7:30 for a 230 mile roundtrip into the mountains of north Georgia.  There were a couple riders from Indiana, some from South Carolina, and even one guy from California.  We started out from Jasper after a truck stop buffet breakfast and headed north to Blue Ridge where we took a break.  Next stop was Suches for another break and then finally Blairsville for lunch.  When lunch was over it was 1:30 and I left the group to head home arriving at 3:30.  Some of them also headed home but some of them continued to ride and arrive home at 8:00 p.m.  I am too old to do that long of a day.
