May 26, 2007. Today was a 379 mile ride with Steve and Lori, and Bill and Mirtes. We went to North Carolina and North Georgia to ride some of the best roads you can imagine. I need to figure out a way for Janis to take pictures as we are riding to show not only how twisty they are but also how beautiful the scenery is.

Starting with breakfast at Waffle House in Jasper at 8:00

Our first break stop in Tellico Plains.

Lori and Mirtes take pictures while Janis and Bill pose.

Steve and Lori

Bill and Mirtes.

Some Harley people were there.

Steve and Bill waiting for the women folk to get done so we
can leave. Then we left and rode the Cherohala Road which was
amazing. They only had to wait for us twice to catch up. Not bad
considering how twisty this road is.

Lunch at Lynn's Place in Robbinsville, NC. Huge burgers
and onion rings.

It's easier to just call it NOC.

Motorcycle parking spaces.

Looking to the left from the bridge.

Looking to the right. It's $105.00 to do this.
Being frugal - we did not do it.

Murphy, NC on the way home for one last break. I don't
know what 'Wag-A-Bag' means.

I was wiped out after the Wayah Road so me and Bill's stuffed
squirell Smitty took a power nap. Then it was home about 7:00.
