June 24, 2006.

Met Phil at 9:00 this morning at JR's.  Charlie stopped by on his wing to have breakfast but then left to do some chores.  Bill also came by for food but didn't ride his bike.

So just Phil and I set out to ride.  We were going to go up to Suches and check out Lenny's restaurant to see if they were open yet for the summer.  We made it about 3/4 the way there and it started to get kind of cloudy so we headed back toward the south and stopped in Dawsonville at the Pool Room for lunch.

Then we went into the Sports Complex just south of Dawsonville to drive around and check it out.  It is out in the middle of no where and is a bunch of baseball fields and tennis courts.

Then when we got back into Cumming, I showed Phil the little road that leads up to the top of Coal Mountain.  It is a real steep ride to the top which is about 1,000 feet up.

Then we both headed home.  A short but nice 110 mile day.
