August 19, 2006. Today was a 215 mile roundtrip to Yonah Dam which is up by Toccoa in northeast Georgia.

We met at JR's. Here is Phil and Charlie programming
their G.P.S.'s. Just as we were getting ready to leave, Wayne pulled up to
join us on his Rune.

Rest stop about 2 hours later.

Dam!

Here is Wayne stopping real fast and being thrown over the
handlebars right into Charlie's open trunk.

The water flowing out of the dam.

Here is Wayne's Rune.

Lunch time at Quincy's. There were no dam restaurants on
the dam road so we came back into Toccoa to eat here. We took about 6
different roads today which made programming the G.P.S.'s a lengthy
project. So I took out my old fashioned M.A.P. and we used that to figure
some things out.
Then one more rest stop at a Quick Trip in Gainesville - a quick check of the M.A.P. - and home.
