October 4, 2009.  Today was a 140 mile trip with Steve and Lori up to Mercer Apple Grove store in Blairsville.  They have anything made from apples.  It is so popular that they have police there to direct traffic.

Getting packed and ready to leave

Meeting in Canton at the Waffle House

A quick fill-up

Motorcycle parking area is marked off with cones.

The place is huge.  You could spend hours if you looked at every single item.

The area where they handed out samples of different types of apples and cider

They had a deli with some great choices, so we ate there after we bought all the stuff we could cram into the bike.

Stopped in Ellijay on the way home to look thru some model log homes.  One (not pictured) was $600,000.00

Lori bought some boiled Cajun peanuts when we were in Blairsville.  This is the slime at the bottom of the bag.  It was gross but she couldn't stop eating them.

One last stop for ice cream.... then home.  A fun day.
