December 2, 2006.  This is 'put up the tree and decorations' weekend so we decided to do just a short (60 mile) ride.  We met Steve and Lori at the McDonalds in Alpharetta and after a cup of coffee to warm us up (it was 33 degrees) we headed north on some backroads to Canton.

Granny's Country Kitchen.  They had a buffet crammed with fried stuff (including fried green tomatoes).  Being the health fanatic that I am, I ordered a healthy cheeseburger off the menu.

Stopped by the Canton Honda dealership.  Pretty big place.  Lots of things inside to buy.  Then we went our separate ways and were home by 2:30.  Temp was up to 55 with clear blue sky.
