April 15, 2006. Blairsville Seafood Market and Dukes Creek Falls.
Started out at 8:30 this morning at McDonalds. A total of 12 bikes and 16 people. We broke into 2 groups of 6 bikes for safety. On the road at 9:00

Making sure bladders are empty, gas tanks full, and stomachs
partially full.

A rest stop.

The view from the rest stop.

Made it to Blairsville Seafood Market. We were kinda
nervous about the fact there is a funeral home right behind it. No one
ordered raw oysters just in case. Most of our kickstands were sunk into
the blacktop when we finished lunch because it was getting hot.

Inside with the wild bunch.

Another rest stop.

Our route out of the rest stop.

Arriving at the falls. Temperature up to 85 now.

There is the falls in the bottom half as we start down a 1
mile trail.

It's about 200 feet from top to bottom.

Another smaller fall that merges with the big one.

This is an actual highway. We stopped for a picture of
this bridge. Yes those are boards on the bridge! If a car comes the other way on the highway (or the bridge)
you have to pull over. The group calls this Goat Road because there is a
goat farm at the beginning of it. Once again, GPS to the rescue.

One more rest stop. We arrived back home about
5:00. 188 miles. Another fun day.
