May 15, 2006. Met up with the Patriot Guard again today, but this was a happy ride. About 60 bikes were there to welcome about 20 soldiers from the 108th Armored Division home from Iraq.
They arrived in a chartered bus with lots of police escort. It was pretty cool to see them get off because we were all lined up and honking our horns. They just started smiling and waving. They put them on the back of a tow truck so they could wave to everyone that lined the city streets... and a lot of people were waving back. The Harley's were revving their engines and everyone was honking their horns.

Here we are gathering.

Same but looking the other way.

Loading the guys up on the truck. There were 20 bikes in
front of the truck and about 40 behind it. That plus lots of State Police
and local cops.

3 miles later we parked at the armory and they marched
in. This is them coming up the hill.

A tank outside the armory. We didn't stay for the ceremony.
